In a sense, mindfulness can be described as awareness with curiosity. Thich Nhat Hahn, a Vietnamese Buddhist monk and peace activist, takes the view that mindfulness means to keep one's attention alive in the present.
While completing a fiber project can lead to a sense of accomplishment and joy, it is often in the process of knitting where calm, comfort, and love exist. As knitters, we all have a project where our hands just know what to do. Change your "mindless" knitting into mindful knitting to help you think positively and create moments of ease and awareness.
This class will be conducted over Zoom. Information on how to join and a small bit of homework will be sent prior to class.
Must know how to cast on, knit, purl, and bind off in the round.
