Foundations of Knitting I
You've been thinking you want to learn to knit. Maybe you've even tried to figure it out on your own through YouTube and the internet.
Have we got the class for you!
In this two class series, you will learn the four fundamental parts of any knitting project - how to cast on, knit, purl, and bind off. Discover the principles of the knit and purl stitches and how they can work together for all of your future knitting creations.
(Really, everything from the simplest scarf to the loveliest sweater uses these four things to get from beginning to end!)
Class 1 will focus on casting on, knitting, and binding off.
Class 2 will focus on purling and combining it with knitting.
We've made sure there is plenty of time during each session so you can get the help you need and your questions answered.
There will be homework/practice required after each class but there are 2 weeks in between meetings so you'll have plenty of time to get your stitches in!
This is part 1 of a planned 3 part series. Want to be ready to whip up some gifts for the holiday season this year? We'll have you set up for success by the middle of October!
