Learn to Embroider
We've been on an embroidery kick for a while at Yarns in the Farms! Great for visible mending, adding some pizzazz to your completed projects, enhancing home decor, or colorful embroidery stitches as a stand alone project.
Come learn the basics of embroidery with us!
In these two sessions, you'll explore a variety of stitches using the Original Sampler from Dropcloth Samplers. Have fun practicing your new skills and have a cool looking sampler by the end. Then you'll be ready to expand your skills into other embroidery applications.
Homework will be required in between to practice your new skills.
Class cost includes a materials kit containing 1 Original Sampler, a hoop, a set of embroidery needles, and 5 skeins of floss. Optional: add the reference book Embroidery: A Step-by-Step Guide to More Than 200 Stitches to your order if you'd like.
Masks will be required for those in attendance. We thank you in advance for your understanding.
