Learn to Double Knit!

Join Julia to learn the magic of double knitting while creating a cozy, fully reversible cowl!

This class is perfect for adventurous beginners ready to expand their skills or intermediate knitters looking for a fun, functional project to stretch their knitting wings. When you're finished, you'll have a beautiful cowl and the ability to tackle any other double-kitting projects you may come across during your knitting life.

In this class, you will learn:

  • casting on for double knitting
  • managing two colors at once
  • creating clean edges and a polished finish
  • chart reading for double-knitting

Meet new people and learn new things!

A longer fist class will allow everyone to cast-on and get a good start on their cowls.
A shorter second class to answer all of your questions that have come up will follow the next week.

  • Two colors of DK weight yarn, approximately 150 yards per color
