Mosaic Knitting Workshop - Night & Day Cowl

Join Elaine for this one day workshop to dip your toes into the wonderful world of colorwork.

Mosaic knitting mimics the look of stranded knitting without having to carry multiple colors in a single row. Using the slip-stitch technique, you'll learn how to create eye-catching geometric patterns with just one color per row.

This class is perfect for adventurous beginners ready to expand their skills or intermediate knitters look for a fun, functional project to stretch their knitting wings. When you're finished, you'll have a beautiful cowl and the ability to tackle any other mosaic knit projects you may come across during your knitting life.

This is a workshop-style class to get started on your cowl and learn all the important pieces of the project/pattern. There will be time for everyone to get cast-on and knitting while Elaine covers techniques and questions. Then you'll complete the cowl in your own time using your newly acquired skills and knowledge!

You will learn:

- mosaic knitting basics
- tips for maintaining tension and achieving clean stitch definition
- finishing techniques
