Top Down Socks!

In this class, you'll make Tanis Lavallee's "Ol' Reliable Top Down Socks". Knit on DPNs (double pointed needles), these classic socks will teach you all you need to know about knitting a top-down sock.
For class, you will need:
- A copy of the pattern (available HERE on Ravelry)
- 1 skein of fingering-weight, sock yarn
- US size 1/2.25mm DPNs (double pointed needles)
- Darning needle for finishing
- A can-do attitude!
In session 1, Stacie will guide you through casting on and getting your knitting established for the cuff/leg.
In session 2, you will cover knitting the heel and picking up for the gusset.
In session 3, you'll learn how to graft the toe together.
Socks are made up of lots of tiny stitches so there will be plenty of homework knitting in between sessions, that's why we've spaced them out by two weeks each. You will get the most out of this class if you do your best in between sessions to make it to the next major step of the pattern ahead of the next class meeting.
A minimum of 3 students is needed for this class to run - bring a friend! Class size is limited to 6 people.
