Cozy Colorwork Cowl
In this class, you'll make Karolina Adamczyk's "Milky Way Cowl". Knit in two contrasting colors, this beautiful, rhythmic cowl will get you well acquainted with stranded colorwork and all the helpful, time-tested techniques Louise has to share.
For class, you will need:
- A copy of the pattern (available HERE on Ravelry)
- 2 50g skeins of Woolstok in contrasting colors
- US size 6 & 8 24" circular needles
- Darning needle for finishing
- A can-do attitude!
Prior to the first meet-up, please cast-on and knit the ribbing so you can dive right into the stranding technique in class.
In session 1, Louise will guide you through the stranded knitting technique, color dominance, and reading a colorwork chart. At your second meet-up, you'll have a chance to ask all your questions, get help fixing mistakes, and learn more of Louise's helpful hints.
A minimum of 3 students is needed for this class to run - bring a friend! Class size is limited to 6 people.

| Instructor Bio: | Louise is knitter, spinner, and aspiring weaver who lives in Topsfield, Massachusetts. Her work is inspired by her Norwegian heritage, which has been passed down to her by generations of Norwegian grandmothers. She loves to continue to learn Scandinavian techniques and is currently learning the art of plukkband, weaving Nordic decorative bands that add the finishing touch to a traditional Norwegian kofte (cardigan). |
