Learn to Crochet

Crochet has been having its moment for a while now. There are clothes and totes and pillows in almost every store and on many of fashion's biggest runways.

But here's the kicker - did you know that crochet can only be made by hand? There are no machines out there that can duplicate crochet stitches. Each and every one of those pieces you see in a shop - whether it be a big box store or a high end fashion house - was made by someone's two hands.

Want to learn to wield a hook so you can create your own crochet creations? Come learn with Marisa!

In this class, you will learn the foundations of crochet from slip knots to chains to stitches. You'll get the basics of creating stitches, putting them together, and plenty of help.

Homework will be required in between to practice your new skills.

Class cost includes class time and a starter kit which you will receive at the first class.

A minimum of 3 participants is required for this class to run. Bring a friend!

IMPORTANT MATERIALS NOTES:
- On the "Hooks" list: please choose Size H/5.0
- On the "Yarn" list: to choose your color of yarn, click here to go to the Ultra Wool page. Make note of your color choice and then come back here to choose it out of the drop down list. We strongly recommend choosing a light or bright color (so no navy/charcoal/black/etc.) so that it is easier to see your stitches!
